Welcomers International Association
Welcomers International consists of followers of Jesus who strive to provide international students and immigrants with opportunities to meet American friends, spend time in American homes, practice speaking English, and become connected to the Tulsa community. Activities include:
English Club
Internationals find warm hospitality and conversational English practice. English Clubs provide a consistent time and place for internationals to cultivate relationships with each other and with Welcomers volunteers. Many internationals find friendships that begin at English Club and then grow to extend well beyond English Club.
Ladies’ Nights
Many women from non-Western cultural traditions enjoy the opportunity to mingle and interact with other women from diverse backgrounds.
Men’s Activities
International men can interact with men from the local community through sports, miniature golf, and other activities.
